This is the annual BCIS IDOL! What makes this one of the most popular events is that student-organized bands, dance groups and solo performers will be selected and compete. Four awards are given each year: 1st & 2nd places for dance, and 1st & 2nd places for music, decided by the professional judges. Although we (HEX) and my own solo performance didn't win any awards, we still performed well and was the most popular band of that night because we really moved the audience. However, the judges were looking for original composition, so unfortunately we didn't get any award, but still we got famous around the school. We performed "Superheroes" by The Script.
(The image below is a picture of our live performance)

We got 6 members (as the name Hex suggests) and I'm on drum, leader of the band. The other 5 members include Jerry Lv on guitar & vocal, Sherlock Shi on vocal, Dylan Park on bass, Harry Wang and Michael Bao on keyboards.
I also have my own solo performance. I played Fantasie Impromptu by Chopin. Even though it was really tough to compete against other musical performances that involve more people, it was still stunning to hear, according to the audience.
